I never thought I’d see gas below 2.50 a gallon yet alone, below 2.00. Gas around here is on average 1.99. Last year at this time we were paying on average about 2.30 and six months ago we were paying 4 bucks a gallon. Why such a fluctuation of the prices? Did someone finally realize we have plenty of crude oil in mother earth? Were prices jacked up just to pad the pockets of the wealthy oil companies? Either way I’m glad the prices have come down. Most of America can afford to drive to work again instead of paying for gas on credit cards and then on top of that, paying interest on that gas.
